Bridge To Terabithia

Well all you parents out there just have to take your kids to see this. I read the book in the 6th grade and it really touched me. I have thought about this book from time to time and thought it would make a great movie. Well, when I saw the trailer for it a while back, I said to my wife "Oh we have got to take the girls to see this ... but I just hope they have done it right and did not ruin the story." We went to see it tonight and I am happy to say that they have done a wonderful job ... at times I felt as if they had gotten into my mind ... as the things I had pictured as I read the book came to life on the screen. If you have not read the book ... don't .... at least not now before seeing the movie. Also, don't read to much about it on the internet ... If you know little or nothing of the story, go see it 1st. Just be prepared with some Kleenex and a meaningful conversation with your kids.
